Vishing or Voice phishing is the use of telephony to conduct phishing attacks.
“It is the fraudulent practice of making phone calls or leaving voice messages purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as bank details and credit card numbers.”
Especially right now when we are facing a huge health crisis & many emergency, it’s extremely important that we don’t panic at any fraud call & understand what is vishing.
