Spyware is defined as – “Software with malicious behavior that aims to gather information about a person or organization and send it to another entity in a way that harms the user”
Safety Tips-
- Beware permissions & access rights given to browser extensions and mobile apps
- Keep mobile apps and OSes up to date
- Install anti-spyware/ anti-malware software on every device
- Do not click on suspicious emails/ links
- Regularly empty spam folder
- Close pop up ads, don’t click
