Positive OTT Content For Children #AAH
Several recent OTT content in India have casual depiction of young adults consuming drugs. Its not just normalized, its even glorified. Infact, its sometimes a part of script that shows it’s part of family values to consume drugs.
Last two years have been tough on everyone including children, their mental health has suffered without interaction with their peers, normal physical activities. To add to that, if we have OTT content which is served straight to our living rooms make drug use normal, it has an adverse impact on minds of the young adults.
Parents should also have a conversation with children that everything on OTT is not real & not to be emulated.
There should be a way to make this content safe for young adults.

We run India’s only private national multilingual AI chat helpline for cyber safety. This helpline is currently available in Hindi & English on our website. It can be accessed from any internet enabled device. You can chat here anonymously, fearlessly.
