Men are victims too! #AAH

Across the world & especially in India, we need to start accepting that often men are victims too!

Quite often, we are not even willing to consider the possibility that a man might be the victim of a crime. Just because of this gender bias, we also force this social conditioning on men that “mard ko dard nahi hota”! Also meaning that men don’t feel pain. How is that possible? We are all human beings and experience same emotions.

Men are ashamed of reporting crimes since they fear being ridiculed for appearing weak. Such conditioning is deep set in our mind right from childhood. This will have to change for society to expect fair treatment of all genders- men, women, LGBTQ and everyone of every age.

Do watch this video carefully & please treat all genders with equal respect.

Stay strong, stay aware, stay safe. Please mask up.
