Cyber Bullying is punishable say Pradeep Bhandari (Founder & CEO- Jan Ki Baat) & Akancha Srivastava (Founder- Akancha Against Harassment)

In this important video, they want to tell you the consequences of actions online. They also talk about the fact that cyber bullying is punishable.

Several youngsters in our country feel targeted when they are online cos someone or even a group of people get together to shame them, harass them. Unfortunately this also leads to suicidal thoughts in them. ‘Bullycide’ is an actual term coined for such act. In case of any such event, cyber bullying is punishable.

Pradeep & Akancha talk about why we need to stop targeting people online- IMMEDIATELY!

Any such untoward incident can lead to immediate punishment for the harasser & you don’t want to be responsible for that.

Lets use social media responsibly. Don’t think that being anonymous son social media will help you get away. Police can find anyone if they go after you. But, even more important is to do the right thing. Not just out of fear of police, but because we are responsible citizens.

Akancha has been leading this initiative for last 3 years raising awareness on this topic & you can watch many more videos on this topic on the channel.

Stay Aware, Stay Safe.
